Radiohead - Lotus Flower

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfOa1a8hYP8

This track comes from Radiohead eighth album, "The King of Limbs", which was released this week and is available to download from the band's website in either mp3 or wav format. The album has been perceived by some reviewers as a companion piece to the band's 2007 album, "In Rainbows". The video to "Lotus Flowers" features frontman Thom Yorke dancing.

Cloud Nothings Should Have

The Cloud Nothings' music is fantastic but their videos are bizarre. Here's the latest video from the band signed to Wichita off their self-titled album.

Maserati - Pyramid of the Sun

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxbOWx6qLfk

Bass-heavy track from Maserati's 2010 album of the same name. "Pyramid of the Sun" is the first album that the band released after former drummer Jerry Fuchs's unfortunate death in 2009 (when he fell down an elevator shaft trying to escape from a broken elevator).

Oh, and the Packers to win tomorrow...

No Joy-Heedless

The Phoenix will have three great bands performing Sunday night competing with the Superbowl but the team to win it all that night might not be Green Bay or Pittsburg but Montreal. Be there early and catch this up and coming band that may just steal the show. Their album Ghost Blonde (out now on Mexican Summer) is a mix of Sonic Youth versus the Raveonettes which is no surprise given that Sune Rose Wagner of the Raveonettes has mixed the album.

(No Joy open up for Wavves and Best Coast at the Phoenix in Toronto Canada on Sunday February 6th at the Phoenix Concert Theatre)
